Cei Bach to start with and apart from 140 Med gulls, a common tern and 23 Sandwich terns it was quiet. Hoping to get ring numbers with my new digital phone telescope adapter I was thwarted with incessant dogs, holidaymakers and fishermen so all birds settled on the water hence making my plans scuppered.
At Aberaeron 160 Med gulls, at Llanon 380 Med gulls in a ploughed
field, five Sandwich terns and at Llanrhystud another 143 Med gulls.
I am so looking forward to the end of the summer holidays when I
can go birding again in relative quietness.
