Yesterday
Very quiet at both the brickhouse and Ynyslas this morning and a trip to Ynys-hir only produced 3 great egret, 3 green sandpiper and two ospreys.
Later at Ynyslas, on a low high tide there were 102 Sandwich terns
and three arctic terns, 78 cormorants, 28 Great black-backed gulls with little
else. Someone was collecting samphire out from the tern posts so every small
wader headed out to the point. Just as I decided to head to the point the rain
came in so I gave it up and headed home.
