Following on from Bob Relph's report of egrets at Ynyshir, I noted at least 12 Great Whites and over 10 Little Egrets on the river and saltmarsh near Doman Las at mid afternoon yesterday before the thunderstorms arrived. I was on the 9.29 train out of Aberystwyth on Wednesday and from the train reaching the Dyfi estuary until Glandyfi I counted at ;east 40 egrets of both species. Tide was well in but still some saltmarsh exposed.
