Pair of (breeding?) Lapwings on the SSSI wet grassland near Tyn-y-Griag, 5 singing Skylarks and 16 Golden Plover in partial summer plumage.
Nearby fields held about 8 Meadow Pipits nesting and singing but none of the usual Stonechats or Wheatears. Will they come later?
On Maes Llyn lake by Cors Caron yesterday 27th March, 13 Tufted Duck, 13 Widgeon, a Dabchick, a Swallow and 2 Chiffchaff.
