Birdsong at Ysgybor y Coed

The singing competition amongst the Ysgybor y Coed birds is reaching fever pitch. This morning, Chaffinches were trying but failing to drown out Blackcaps and Willow Warblers. Chiffchaffs are still in the competition but they were taking it easy. Blackbirds and Wrens were at it as well with the percussion section, (a couple of GS Woodpeckers) close by drumming at different pitches. I watched a Peregrine circling lazily over the Foel. Oh, and Buster didn't quite fall for the Nuthatch's regular dog-whistling gag.
