Cross Inn

I was away all day yesterday in the Midlands and left for Cross Inn this morning without checking the blogg, I did see one Cuckoo and heard at least one other, saw Tree Sparrow, lots of Chiff-chaff and Willow Warblers, 3 Great-spotted Woods, lots of Mipits,Raven,Grey Heron, Buzzards, Stonechat and Phil Dennis but no Grey Shrike, it was a fine morning though overcast and it felt good to be out and about. I thought I'd be the first one to report a Cuckoo never mind.
