Just read Andy's blog and thought I would also remark the rheidol sandmartins are very active and there seems to be more of them .They are difficult to count but I think that there must be at least 100.They have a definite structure to their day and after a feeding frenzy they all seemed to pile into their burrows.These can be a meter long. I think it was a case of standing room only as the last few tried to get in.
