Castle Point and Tanybwlch, Aberystwyth

The usual 15 Ringed Plovers and 6 Turnstone were on the sandy part of the
beach by the castle around lunchtime today (28.10.10).

I moved on to Tanybwlch beach, where there was a grey wagtail, some rock pipits, 2 swans
with 3 cygnets, and squabbling gulls by the bridge. Futher along, there were
9 or ten Oystercatchers, but the highlight for me was a colourful Wheatear
(?Greenland) foraging among the stones.
