Bar-headed Goose

I was surprised to see a Bar Headed Goose in a flock of about 60 Canada Geese, about 500 yards above Priory Bridge Cardigan at mid-day yesterday. I was walking along the south side of the river and saw a pale goose as the flock moved from the river to a grass field on the north side. I drove round, parked by the entrance to Parc Teifi, walked along the road and got a good view at a range of 150 yards. I read that there are a few about, escapees, and some have bred, but I don’t know how commonly they are seen in this area.
