Birds at Borth and the Clettwr

At about 10:30 this morning John and I had good views of 3 Purple Sandpipers on the rocks in front of the Lifeboat Station at Borth. There were a few Common Scoter on the sea and 3 Teal chugging along with them. When we ascended the hill at Upper Borth a Chough flew past a couple of times and a male Peregrine whizzed by. After all-day breakfast at "The Limit" we had a waddle along the Clettwr. Two Dippers - one of them ringed - were our star birds. Apart from a lone Little Egret, a couple of Redshank on the exposed mud, and Teal, Lapwing and Starlings in the flooded fields opposite that was it!
