We had good views of the golden eagle at around midday today from a layby in Ysbyty Ystwyth, just up the road from Pontrhydygroes. The photos are for proof rather than artistic skill!

The Water Rail was in Plascrug Ditch at about midday and the Golden Eagle soaring above Ysbyty Ystwyth at approximately 13.45.
