Yesterday at Nant Yr Arian was a Male Goldeneye on the lake with many many Red kites down for a feed.
In our garden in Ystumtuen, the we had a flock of 30+ Siskins among the other usuals! During a walk the other day around Ystumtuen I found a possible new Yellowhammer terratory which I will be keeping an eye on. Also spotted was a Goldcrest, Red Kite, Fieldfare, Song Thrush, Buzzard and Great Spotted Woodpecker. Also on Pond Yr Oerfa today, 4 Whooper Swans, 2 Mallards and a Grey Heron.
Today on the prom we saw about 20 Turnstones on College rocks and approx 10 Lesser Black Backed Gulls with many more Herring and Black Headed Gulls.
