Viva Llanrhystud!

Could have been a big hit for Elvis 47 years ago but an early interest in "bird spotting" failed to take off. As you know John I thoroughly agree with what you say about the BTO surveys, indeed I'm a paid up member of tetradaholics anonymous myself. A fantastic way to explore and discover Ceredigion and learn more about the birds in your local area, and maybe even turn up something unusual now and again. The Lapland Bunting was still present this morning at Llannon in exactly the place I saw it last month, which is in the grassy strip along the seaward edge of the second field down from the car park. Hangs around with a couple of Reed Buntings. Also 20 Stock Doves here. A Little Gull was at Llanrhystud and a single Merganser and 190 Curlews. Nothing out at sea at all.
