I've seen the shrike at last!
I went to Cross Inn this morning and finally saw my first Great Grey Shrike after many fruitless trips; in the big clearing at about 10am, so thanks to Phil and this blog! Also saw and heard plenty of crossbill, goldcrest, siskin, coal tit, reed bunting and also saw a pair of kestrels. It's a few years since I've seen 2 together
