At high tide this morning the Leri saltings were virtually a 'Bird Free Zone' - just a couple of Oystercatchers and three Curlew were to be seen. Back along the road nr Ynyslas turn there were five or six Teal on the unfrozen water alongside the rushes.
Back home in the garden the GSWoodpeckers are busy declaring territories!
