Having decided to concentrate on bird watching for the time being and forget photography ,I now know why.Those shots of the starlings are something else! We are so fortunate to have three or four very gifted bird watchers. I and many others can just sit back in amazment and enjoy .Thank you all for your fantastic contributions.They make this blog !
I am currently enjoying the waterfowl of the Abberton Reservoir Nature Reserve near Colchester. Essex and Suffolk Water are raising the level of the reservoir and creating a new visitors center in the process.A brilliant resource to look forward to .Today the sunshine brought out the skylarks in great numbers and the air was full of song.A good example of sustainability. Essex Wildlife Trust are to be complemented on taking such a positive step forward!
