Yesterday (March 17th) at about 6pm I counted 15 purple sandpipers on sea wall at Castle Point in Aberystwyth - I've never seen such a large number.
Earlier in the morning of same day (and previous day) whilst jogging in Cross Inn forest the great grey shrike was very much around in the big clearing - seems to alternate between both sides of the road.
