Mwnt to the Teifi...........

Mwnt;- c50 Wheatears at Mwnt this morning,(10 were ringed). Small numbers of Swallows passing west, also 1 House Martin seen. Difficult to judge numbers, but Willow Warblers singing, and plenty of Chiffchaffs. (Teifi RG) Teifi Marshes;- Late pm, c300 Sand Martins having a final feed today, with the occassional glimpse of House Martin and Swallow. Willow Warblers, Chiffs, and Cetti's all in song to the end...when several calling Snipe started moving off to feed. On the river, 1 pair Shoveler, 2 Black-tailed Godwits(1 sum plum), and 1 female Goosander.
