Clywedog plantation, Llanfair Clydogau

A lot of warblers in song despite the chilly breeze; Garden(10), Blackcap(11), Chiffchaff(15), Willow(40), Grasshopper(1), Whitethroat(5), Wood(1). Disappointed not to hear a Cuckoo but more evidence of Crossbills successfully breeding when a female and 2 juveniles alighted in a tree. Four Pied Flycatchers were singing in the narrow lanes immediately below the plantation.
