There seems to be a bit of a lull at present and so Harry, Meurig and I went north to Porthmadog where a 1st summer Bonaparte's Gull has been seen since 23rd. It was there this morning and we had great, close views of this lovely little North American Gull.
A nice group of friendly birdwatchers were there. Cob Records is close by and is always somewhere to spend some time and money!
Check with Birdline Wales and if the Gull is still there it is well worth a visit.
Up to Porthmadog, right at the Shell garage and park in the large car park beyond Wilkinsons.
Walk across the little railway line and view the mudflats at the little inlet called Llyn Bach.
