Ynys-hir and Foel Fawr

On our walk around Ynys-hir this morning as well as some of the now well established summer visitors we saw a female Scaup on the Dyfi near Marian Mawr hide. I also bumped into Jerry who passed on some useful information about an optics specialist, Caron, an avid birder recently arrived in the county and John and guests, one of whom is a keen follower of the blog at home in Shropshire (I think!) Later Buster and I trundled up Foel Fawr and saw a single male Stonechat and a very obliging Tree Pipit.
