Just a reminder that the walk on Sunday up the Mwyro valley starts at 9A.M. at the Abbey car park Strata Florida. We'll decamp into fewer cars as the carpark at the roadhead is small.
The walk is a gentle uphill stroll on a good path though walking boots are essential. If it rains a lot between now and then wellies are a good option as there are muddy bits and a small stream crosses the path. There are opportunities to sit and observe on the way so you don't have to do the final flog(short flog!)up to the lake if you prefer not though I did see a couple of birds on it worth following up!
Don't forget your elevenses and bug/bite cream if its muggy.
The return downhill takes just 50 minutes so if you want to get lunch at the Black Lion in Bont or make the most of the afternoon you'll be back in good time to do so.
