Had to venture into the metropolis for an eye check up so took the bins hoping to get a couple of year ticks namely Med Gull and Rock Pipit, didn't see either but whilst checking out all the Turnstones and Ringed Plovers on the rocks in front of the Vulcan Monument two juvenile Swallows flew in off the sea.
On Tuesday Bob and I went to Aber Dysynni, the weather was lovely and we had great views of 12 male Eiders at the river mouth. Also present was a female Surf Scoter and an Arctic Tern, I know it's out of the county but someone else might like to see a nearby rarety, so I hope no-one is offended.
