YNYSLAS Tues 25th

A stroll through the dunes produced 1 blackbird, a complete lack of birds passerines anywhere. However, on scanning the distant tideline i noticed 3 terns feeding mid channel. After running down to get a closer look they had flown over to the Aberdovey side! Two of the birds looked like arctic terns the other was not a comic tern, roughly similar in size perhaps a bit bigger, dark smudge through the eye and always kept its distance from the other two. They finally flew out and when i left they were around the green buoy, a long way out. Another bird of note a G N Diver appeared for a short time on the surface, dived, and could not be found again. On the 20th Chris Bird found a snow bunting near the Leri boatyard, I have been unable to locate it since, just a male stonechat.
