There were 16 Greenland whitefronts on Glandwr fields, Cors Fochno this afternoon, presumably the same bird's (plus 2) seen by JD at the weekend. Nice to see them on their ancestral wintering site, (even if this part of it is now wet grassland as opposed to sphagnum bog!). Also present were around 550 lapwing, 20 curlew, 69 canadas and a few hundred starling. Also a male kestrel near Leri bridge.
