Nanternis Wood Pigeons

Regarding the Wood Pigeons at Nanternis. I couldn't say for sure as I don't live over there, but when I worked more regularly in the Sarnau/Brynhoffnant area I was never aware of very large flocks wintering. This suggests to me that these were passage birds, perhaps using the area briefly, en route from A to B.
