On the Prom Wall there were 6 Purple Sandpipers, picture here of one playing peek a boo! On South Beach sheltered up near the old paddling pool breakwater were what I initially thought were bedraggled Ringed Plovers but on closer inspection I now think are a group of 7 Turnstones. I will stand corrected as I have never seen them this close before. They appeared absolutely shattered after the rough weather on Friday night and were not inclined to move away.
