At midday from the bridge over the Teifi at the Ystrad Meurig end, a Short-eared Owl and ring-tail Hen Harrier.
Earlier at Maesllyn, sadly no sign of the Pochard but 17 Tufted Ducks, 89 Wigeon and several Teal and some Mallard and Moorhens making more birds here than possibly on all the other Ceredigion inland waters at this time put together!
