I have seen the odd hobby over the SE bog of Cors caron during June and July but this afternoon there were 4. One certainly was in moult but the others were hard to see being very high and far away and into the sun to boot!
We went to Mynachty Craig this morning thinking that this little watched bit of coast with its interesting and varied shoreline might provide a surprise or two but clearly all the birds were at Ynys Las! Never mind some choughs made the up and down slog worthwhile and oh joy, sunshine at last!
