High-tide Dyfi WeBS count

A few nice birds today on the WeBS count. At the Clettwr section there were 3 greenshank with 3 green sandpipers at Lodge farm. A hobby at Penrhyngerwin and 2 stock doves drinking at the Clettwr were non-wader and wildfowl highlights. At Ynys-hir, apart from the wood sandpiper mentioned in the last post, there were 2 green sandpiper, 2 ospreys, 6 black-tailed and 4 bar-tailed godwits. Very cute too was a small little grebe chick travelling around on the back of one of the adults.
