Ynyslas point

The usual thousands of sea birds at Ynyslas turn and I spent a very enjoyable half hour at the northern point at Ynyslas. A mixed flock of waders contained 168 ringed plover, 240 dunlin, 55 sanderling, 6 turnstone and a lovely summer plumaged knot. 240 sandwich terns were feeding off-shore and loafing at the mouth of the Leri. A common tern and 5 Med. gulls were rather splendid too.
