Angie & I went for a short walk near Bont on Sunday afternoon, we went up to the top of Pen y Bannau hill fort and came across a short eared owl just below the trig point at SN742669. Rather dull colour and seemingly shorter primaries than normal so perhaps one of this year's young, very nice views!
And 30+ house martins feeding over Strata Florida Abbey.
Also on Cors Caron today lots of reed bunting, sedge warbler, skylark and meadow pipit around at the Southern end and a kingfisher on the ditch just north iof where the Teifi goes under the old railway line.
