Early afternoon there was a little crowd of us (quite a lot for Ceredigion) looking for the Semipalmated Sandpiper at the Point at Ynyslas. Eventually it was found and in the distant photo it is the smaller wader on the left. A Little Stint was also present, the bird in the centre in the next and a couple of Golden Plovers plus a good number of Dunlin and Ringed Plovers.
Fortunately the SP Sand. was in the furthest little group so when a dog persistently chased all the waders infront of us while its owners walked some way behind us, simply not caring whatsoever, the star bird remained to be viewed by Chris who had just made a hurculean walk across the sand to join us.
