Here are a couple of messages that I somehow overlooked. Sorry Matt and Steffi, better late than never though -
Yesterday (Tuesday 11th) there were 6 Whooper Swans, including 2 juv. Possibly the same group of 6 from last month?
Also a Little Grebe and 6 Mallard. One of the drake Mallard having very pale flanks which are almost white. I have seen him a few times now and on first glance from the road think its an Goosander or Goldeneye!
Today, the Pond was covered in ice so no birds whatsover!

Wednesday 12th - At Ynyslas turn carpark we had 2 Red-throated Diver, 6 Sanderling, about 10 Ringed Plover and 20+ Oystercatcher; at the gravel spit at Wallog 40 to 50 Red-throated Diver were congregating, and at the end of the day a hunting Peregrine showed nicely over Borth Bog.
