An otter was quite close to the shore beside the Leri Boaryard just before high tide this morning. It was repeatedly diving and surfacing with food which it munched as it made its way towards the road bridge.
In the fields beside the track were c80 Lapwing, 20 Dunlin, 30 Redshank and 7 Grey Plover. There were also Curlew, Shellduck, Black-headed & Herring Gulls, Starlings and a pair of Stonechat.
