Misc.

I noticed there were a few Brambling sightings recently on feeders. A female was on mine too for a couple of days during the snow but my erratic topping up routine caused it to seek better service elsewhere understandably. Popped over to Pont Gogoyan this morning hoping the high water levels would reveal some wildfowl but was surprised at how few ducks were about. There were 12 Cormorants and a Little Grebe here, and later, 5 Goosanders at Celtic Lakes, Temple Bar. Finally, at Rhos Cilcennin, I was lucky enough to see a Goshawk blasting across the sky quite close in front of me.
