I did a bit of a whistle stop tour of some birding sights today.

At Pond Llywernog, the two juv Whooper Swans have been there for approx 6 weeks now. Often they are joined by four adults, so presumably the party of six that I keep seeing, but intresting behaviour that the adult members leave the juveniles and then come back.

Two Mute Swans were on the Rhiedol by the bridge to the Indusrial Estate.

Cors Caron was pretty devoid of anything. I was hoping for Hen Harrier but a female Bullfinch sort of made up for it.

The usual common stuff were on the feeders and a lone Whooper Swan was with a group of four Mute Swans from the boardwalk.

The pool in front of the hide had a Little Grebe. Also from the boardwalk were a few Reed Buntings and Teal.

Maesllyn held a single male Tufted Duck, four Mallards and approx 95 Wigeon.

There was no sign of the female Scaup on Llyn Bwlchcrwys but at Llyn Frongoch at Trisant, I think I saw one here. I took plenty of notes and when I go home and looked it up, I am pretty convinced it was one!
