The Purple Sandpipers and Little Upstart - sorry, I mean Black Redstart - continued to elude us this morning but there were eight Ringed Plovers on the rocks at Castle Point, several Oystercatchers, adult and immature, between Castle Point and the Pier and twelve Turnstones feeding under the Pier. Pete thought he caught a glimpse of a Dunlin but couldn't be sure. There was no sign of the injured Little Gull.
