Just back from our afternoon walk beside the boatyard at Ynyslas. The awful weather made us beat an early retreat having seen not much. But on our way back along the track we flushed a Jack Snipe which only got up when we were nearly on top of it. It flew about 15 yards ahead of us and disappeared into very sparse cover beside the bank up to the boatyard.
