With a combined total of probably at least 100 years of birdwatching between us, Bob and I reckoned that until this morning we had never seen Reed Buntings on seed feeders.
There were 2 males on a feeder at Cors Dyfi, together with a great range of birds including more Lesser Redpolls than I have seen so far this year.
It may be just across the County line in Montgomeryshire, but their Ospreys, yet to arrive, do spend quite a bit of time in our County, especially when feeding, so perhaps this vibrant reserve could be regarded as an Honourary Outpost of Ceredigion.
