Spoonbill

Decided that a Spoonbill hunt was in order so me and my mate had a walk
along Glandwr this afternoon and immediately spotted the Spoonbill
circling above the pools. We watched it for around an hour achieving
excellent views whilst it associated closely with a Little Egret before
following the egret over the bank onto the Leri. It really did seem to be
good friends with the egret!

We then went on to Clettwr where we saw another 3 egrets, plenty of
Redshank, Teal and Lapwing (displaying) along with (I assume) the same
flock of Greenland Whitefronts reported a couple of days ago. About 50
grazing on a distant field.
