BORTH

I've been waiting for the Manx Shearwaters to arrive and they certainly did that in numbers yesterday with at least a 1000 feeding off Borth.
Counted 885 today in 1 hour (just birds heading north to avoid duplication).
Long-tailed Duck in summer plumage was offshore opposite the Y.H.A. building and a single Whimbrel briefly on the beach before flying north towards Ynyslas. 3 R.T.Divers and 14 G.C.Grebe, 12 Guillemot, 8 Razorbill and 35 C.Scoter on the sea.
