Glandwr

As I walked along the track to Glandwr this afternoon I heard 3 Sedge Warblers chunterring away , one showed itself very well and as I watched it sing I was able to see the pink gape so characteristic and attractive in this species.  I saw 5 Wheatear and probably 15 Wagtails, (at lease 3 of which were white, the rest pied) in a small patch of one field.
In one of the fields next to the Leri Boatyard there were c130 Golden Plover looking stunning in their summer plumage and several more Wheatear.
