There was an owl quartering at Cors Caron late last night, it was too far away (& dark) to make positive id of barn or short eared. I hope it was a 'barn' after seeing Liz's entry. Viewed from the north, it must have been close to the boardwalk/bird hide. Earlier in the day I watched a red kite eating a mole!
This morning a male wheatear in the upper Teifi valley past Strata Florida, and 30-40 meadow pipits, a few of them doing their singing flight.
