Round up from Matt Potter

On Monday 15th April, I saw my first Swallows fly over the A487 just before the crossroads with Waun Fawr and the Clarach road.

Further Swallows were seen on Wednesday flying over the flooded areas on the right in the dunes as you drive to Ynyslas.

Also on Wednesday, there was a brief glimpse of the Snow Bunting at the Turn Car Park.

Thursdays fruitless Hoopoe hunt around the sheds at the begining odf ther cycle track was rewarded with Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, Lots of Wheatears and White Wagtails, a pair of Stonechat and a Sandwich Tern over the Ystwyth.

Also Yesterday, my better half saw a Peregrine in Ystumtuen. Willow Warblers have returned in small numbers back in Ystumtuen along with a pair of Wheatears.

A Yellowhammer was heard singing near Pond Yr Oerfa yesterday and a Great Crested Grebe was on Llywernog Pond along with several Tufted Duck.
