Ynyslas and Ynys-hir

At the turn car-park this morning there was no sign of the snow bunting. On the beach there were 17 sanderling and on the sea 6 red-throated divers, a few razorbills and manx shearwaters. Back at Ynys-hir a few willow warblers were singing and I was lucky enough to see a pair of lesser spotted woodpeckers on the oak just outside the Marian mawr hide.
