Around Borth


4 linnet were amongst the gorse bushes at the River Clettwr today, house martin, male sparrowhawk, lapwing, shelduck, red legged partridge also about amongst other common species.

Whitethroat showing well on circular walk around Cors Fochno, lots of sedge warblers, female sparrowhawk, red kite, and buzzards also of note amongst other species.

At least a dozen reed warblers singing in the reed beds along the Leri, also many sedge warblers and reed buntings, male sparrowhawk, 2 grasshopper warbler, displaying lapwing, 1 pied and 3 white wagtails along the river amongst all the usuals.

But still no cuckoo!
