LLANRHYSTUD

2 singing Lesser Whitethroats were at the lime kilns this morning, one showing remarkably well.
14 Whimbrel were along the shore and a lone White Wagtail was on the pebble ridge. A late Red-throated Diver was offshore.
I forgot to mention that yesterday from the Turn car park at Ynyslas I was able to do a fairly accurate count of 775 Common Scoters. They were somewhat distant but the sea was calm. A Little Ringed Plover was on nearby Glandwr.
