re crossbill

There has been a small passage of crossbills at RSPB Ynys-hir over the last week with a peak count of twenty flying north on Wednesday. I have also heard them at Allt y Crib, behind Talybont over the last few days after an absence of some months. It is therefore highly likely that there was one flying over near Tregaron as reported by Pete and Jenni Hyatt.
