This is not strictly birds, but I know that many birders often pursue an interest in butterflies and other insects in summer when the birds have gone quiet, so this may be of interest.
We have a few spaces left on the following training workshops at Denmark Farm.

10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
£35

Moths
Friday 2 Aug 2013
10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
£35
Learn how to identify, conserve and encourage these creatures of the night (and sometimes day!).
Tutor: Phil Ward
Discover the fascinating world of moths, study their wonderful variety of colours and learn how to identify different families and species of moth. We will examine live moths from the contents of moth trap catches from the previous night, identify species we have caught and learn about the habitat and ecology of selected species. We will also look at different moth trap types and their use and recommended moth books.
These can be booked through our website (www.denmarkfarm.org.uk) or by calling 01570 493358.
